Philosophy/Guiding Principles

• We embrace פיקוח נפש (pikuach nefesh) as an overall goal.

• Jewish lives matter and are worth defending.

• A strong defense deters the  רודף (rodef) so there is no fight.

• If the רודף (rodef) chooses the fight, it merits the outcome.

• Jews have historically had a defensive warrior ethos.

• Jews cannot rely on others for their defense.

• We harden our communities, not our hearts.

• Strong Jewish attitudes transcend any particular sect or geography and are inclusive of all Jews.

• When we say "never again" we mean it.
